SEPTEMBER 15, 2019 Penetrators Back on Top
SNC 24 looked to be a battle from the start, but The Penetrators pulled away from the rest of the group after lunch and secured another championship. Congrats to the Penetrators!
SEPTEMBER 16, 2018 Let It Ride Makes History
For the first time in Tournament history, Let It Ride took home the hardware with a total team effort in all three sports. Huge props to boys from LIR!!

In one of the most dominating performances in SNC history, The Penetrators ran away with the championship for SNC 21. Congrats to the Penetrators!
SEPTEMBER 24, 2015 Bacon is Sizzlin'
Gary "Bacon" Isaman has taken another step towards recovery--literally. Gary was up on his feet and looking ready to throw a horseshoe in his new Penetrator uniform which is much better than some of their past uniforms. Keep it up, Gary. We are all with you!
SEPTEMBER 19, 2015 Point Shavers Champs!
With echoes of "Cumba-What!!" still bouncing off of the Pine Nut Mountains in Dayton, NV, the SNC XX has come to an end. The Point Shavers shocked the world by winning the early contest in golf and hanging on to win it all with a very inspirational effort in bowling. Congrats to the storied franchise with yet another one for the ages! More to come on final results.
October 22, 2014--Media Black Out?
For the first time in SNC history, the tapes that came back to Montana from SNC 18 showed up blank. Was it the airport x-ray? Some kind of magnet? Either way, the SNC has no footage of this event for the first time in history--kind of like trying to watch the Oakland Raiders on TV if you live in the area.
This is where you come in. We need any pics you have from SNC 18. Whlle you are at it, any pics you have from SNC 17 and SNC 19 are also needed. If you only have a few, you can email them to commish@sierranevadaclassic.org, but if you have a bunch, the Commish can send you a link to upload them.
SEPTEMBER 22, 2014 Well . . . Nearly Every Time
Proving that SNC 18 was no fluke, the .45s brought the noise in SNC 19 to capture back to back titles. Team members John Wurster, Rich Hutson and Steve Hutson are rumored to have been resting their heels on Captain Jim McHugh's boat somewhere off of the Costa Rica coast ever since.
September 21, 2014--SNC Members Raise Some Dough
Thanks to everyone who competed in the charity domino tournament in SNC 19. It came down to the wire, but Let It Ride took the trophy and a custom set of dominoes home minutes before the bar closed. The first ever charity event was a good time had by all and $1,000 was raised for the Powell family. Thanks again to all of the SNC members and to the Carson Valley Inn for pouring the drinks!
September 20, 2014--Let It Ride Makes Tournament History
Going into SNC 19, there were many questions about how the Gorko-less, Let It Ride squad would fare on the links. Could they still be competitive without Gorko's long ball? Who is this Matlock character? Will The Serb's depth of knowledge about the Washoe and Shoshone Indian tribes come into play? Will The JB have to use his two drives on the 17th and 18th hole?
Behind an epic round from Jim Tiierney, Let It Ride answered these questions and more as they cruised to an all time tournament low score of 60. They led the tourney the entire round and birdied 9 out of the last 10 holes en route to a 7 stroke victory. Congrats to Let It Ride for an amazing round.
